Delicious Restaurants in Red Square

Eating out in Red Square Restaurant is a warm and gratifying experience. There are ample Moscow restaurants serving traditional Russian cuisine such as caviare, beef stroganov and chicken kiev, as well as a many offering international or seafood menus. The best Moscow restaurants specialising in local fare can be found inside the Garden Ring and Kitai, or near Poklonnaya Hill. There are excellent seafood restaurants in both Red Square and Kiev Station Square, while international cuisine is available from restaurants in Pushkinskaya and Tverskaya, and on Teatralny Proezd (city centre). The Taganskaya area is also well-know for its wealth of restaurants. While there are some Moscow restaurants that even stay open 24 hours a day, most establishments require reservations. Red Square Restaurant add a service charge to the bill and if not, 10% gratuity is acceptable.

Being sited in one of Shanghai’s most iconic buildings partly achieves that goal as it is. The daily bus tours guarantee Red Square Restaurant a steady stream of customers who have just happened upon the place but who are pleasantly surprised by how inviting, and lively, the restaurant actually is Russian Restaurant at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino is the premier dinner, cocktail, and nightlife destination. Chef Brian Massie and Chef Chris Conlon have created the exquisite menu - featuring easy-to-share plates including Tuna Tartare, Chicken Kiev with Bacon Brussels Sprouts and an impressive caviar selection - which will take contemporary American favorites and infuse them with exciting Russian influences. Along with its famous frozen Ice Bar and private vodka vault, Russian Restaurant will feature an incomparable vodka selection, as well as an intriguing list of signature cocktails, martinis and vodka infusions created by The Light Group's team of master mixologists, creating the perfect nighttime destination.

Oksana describes Russian cuisine as similar to that of Eastern European Style food, as well as Germany and the Czech Republic (picked vegetables, cabbage, curd cheeses) with additional influences from nearby Islamic nations (kebabs, dumplings and meat platters). And the menu at Red Square is a largely faithful appropriation of the cuisine, including the preponderance of dill, Russian Restaurant most widely used herb. That most iconic of Russian delicacies, caviar, is also well represented, the kitchen serving up both Pike - a favorite in the west of the country - as well as the Red variety of European Style food, which is more popular in the east.  And if you thought crawfish was just a Chinese obsession, then think again  Red Square serves up the crunchy critters and cooking.

"If anybody ever told me I'd be in Russia and someone would ask me for an autograph, I'd think it was crazy," Tyson said as he shook outstretched hands and signed pieces of paper thrust at him by Soviets and foreign tourists.Never mind that some of the Soviet kids thought he was Pele, the former Brazilian soccer great, who also was in the Soviet capital.
Tyson also underestimated the media attention, which followed him from New York, where he had been dogged by reports of erratic behavior over the last few weeks. One of the most distinguishing aspects of Red Square’s extensive menu is the European Style food presentation of dishes, an ongoing labor of love for Oksana. “I am always thinking about new styles and new ways of presenting food. It’s important that there are regular changes. You have to constantly surprise your customers – but in a good way.”
